Coupe Car for your pleasure
Coupe Series
Well to start it all off there is no one definition to fit what it is, that all depends on what the manufacturer decides what it is and the timing but it generally fits the rule to be a small closed car. That being said, there is usually a call for just two doors and not the typical four doors you find in a sedan and the seat placement, if there is one, in the back would be placed up closer to the front than it would be in the sedan too. There are many different styles, makes and models, but over time the coupe has always been known for the sportier image than the sedan and not quite the same a typical sports car that usually offers 2 seats and that’s it.
The coupe has been around for years, and as any car enthusiast knows it has evolved over the years and frankly year by year to keep up with the demand of what the people want out of their automobiles. Way back in 1954 there was a terrific little sporty model that made it’s debut and things have never been the same, if you ask an enthusiast they can tell you all about the 1954 Corvair. Car shows back in those days were a great formal event and allowed carmakers to show off their latest styles is a spectacular fashion. The coupe has somewhat changed over the years but still offers great styles that keep the public going back for more.
Now automakers have come up with new great styles and any car enthusiast just can’t get enough.
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class offers 400 pounds per ft of torque at 1600 rpm and is thought of by many as the perfect car, this baby will set you back about $48000 with it’s 5.5L V8 but to the Mercedes lover it is well worth the ticket price.
Then we can move on to the Ferrari F430 now what car lover would not be proud to sport this baby in their garage, a beauty of a car that makes it a shame to take her out on the road. She will set you back a mere $189,000 and has a 4.3L V8 sitting under her hood. When you’re looking for power in a coupe that has the looks to match this is the baby for you.
At the more affordable level, Pontiac has come out with the Solstice and this baby gave up nothing in looks for it’s great price of around $26,000 she has a 2.4L L4 with 173hp so your still looking at a sharp coupe at a more affordable price.
As long as there are drivers there will be a demand for the coupe so keep your eyes open and you will be sure to find a coupe that tickles your fancy. Fast affordable or sleek and out of the ball park in pricing, there is a coupe out there for every taste so keep you eyes peeled and see what you can find.
